“ Cause "Save the Girl Child"”
Sanjana Jon was the grand fi-nale designer for the first Fashion week in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, and she dedicated it to the girl child and women empowerment. Midsummer Nights Dream was filled with dreamy blues, passionate pinks, ravishing reds, in flowing romantic cuts and silhouettes.
As the collection was inspired by life itself the instinctive feel to capture joy and happiness and spread love n light was propagated and promoted through the collection. Indore saw a dream of a collection designed to make every woman look like a dream and keeping the culture and heritage and colors of India in mind. The joy of living and collaborating celebration of life thru this fantastic collection enthralled the audience. The show stoppers Payal Rohatgi (actor – Corporate, 36 China Town, Dhol) and Sangram Singh (International wrestler, reality show star-Survivor India, De Dhana Dhan) along with the models walked for the cause to empower and end female feticide in India.
Sanjana Jon, an International designer from New York, believes in fashion with a social cause. Fashion to her is not the end but the means to the end which is to make the world a better place filled with love and light.
